(Note) The experts state estimates as high as ten percent of 1956-1964 business strike coins are Type-B Reverse's. I disagree! I think the figure is much lower I think more like one percent or less. I have included the 1% and 10% figure so you could judge for yourself. The reason I disagree is no one knows how many proof dies were used in any given year. For example, If only two or three proof dies were used in 1956 then the number of coins produced would be somewhere between 500,000 and 750,000 yet I think still a high number. So in my opinion you can throw the estimates out the window. They are not correct. But please keep in mind! Thats only my opinion. Also keep in mind that hundred of thousands of circulated, uncirculated and B/U rolls were melted down in the 70's and 80's for there silver content and no count was kept of what was melted. This alone is going to effect the population greatly.
